Phillip Finch and Team Alpine Tile & Marble: Class 10 Off-Road

Phillip Finch has been involved in off-road racing for 30 years, successfully competing in the District 38 motorcycle series before turning his interests to the four-wheeled world.  In 2002, Phillip built a Honda-powered Chenowth two-seater Class 10 car.  With Phillip providing pit logistics, support and financing, the car posted a class and overall win in the FRT200, first in class at the FRT King of the Desert, and second in the SCORE San Felipe 250.   In 2004, Phillip chose to campaign the car himself, with relief-driver duties handled by Tom Bryant.  Consistent results continued in the SCORE series, with a 6th place finish in the 2004 Baja 500, and a 4th at the Primm 300.   SCORE results in 2005 were excellent too, with a 4th place at Laughlin, 3rd place finish in the Baja 500, and 4th again at the Primm 300.  The successful year culminated with a class win and third overall at the MDR Dash 200, and trophy for the fastest lap.
