Alex Amen: Modified Lite

Racer's Name: Alex Amen Hometown: Fort Morgan, Colorado Racecar: #9 Modified Lite (Panther Chassis) Championships: Quarter Midget Track Champion in his 2nd year of racing Notable Wins: Alex has won 2 of 3 main events in 2007 at Big Country Speedway, he has won also 13 Qualifying Quick Times out of 15 races in 2006 and 2007, with the other 2 races he finished  second.  Alex has set qualifing times that have not been seen for years, let alone by a 16 year old. Additional Info: Alex started racing Quarter Midgets when he was 11 years old and moved to Modified Lites when he was 14 year old.  Modified Lites are 5/8 scale version of a full IMCA Modified car that runs a 1000 to 1200cc motorcycle fuel injected engines.  They race on dirt and asphalt oval tracks and can get speeds of well over 100 mph.
