Keith Butler: Sprint Car, Florida's TBARA circuit

Keith Butler, driving a sprint car he designed and built, has scored three feature wins so far this year on one of America's toughest sprint car circuits, Florida's TBARA. Keith was the first sprint car racer in America to try out Bilstein's new ASB Series, small body, aluminum, "take-apart" shock. His first '06 win came at New Smyrna Beach Speedway in April, but he topped that by winning TBARA features August 5th at Ocala Speedway, and August 6th at Columbia Motorsports Park. Back in June Keith took time off from his TBARA schedule to compete in a non-wing sprint car event at Citrus County Speedway. Keith says, "I'd never raced this car without a wing, so didn't know exactly what to do for a shock set-up. Our new ASB shocks are quick and easy to re-valve, and we tuned them every time we came off of the track. We kept working in the same direction and by the feature, they were right." That must have been the case, because Keith led every lap for the win.
